We are leaving our home in Forest Grove. A place where we learned a lot about who we are and what really matters, a place where we gained direction, testimony, and many hard knocks from the school of life. Looking back I have so many fond memories, some not so fond....some things I can't wait to wave goodbye to and you guessed it....others that will make me cry.

In looking back, there were three lessons that Travis and I have concluded had the biggest impact on our family while we have been here at school:

FIRST-- God is always near, trust Him, SUBMIT to life and enjoy the ride. Get to work on having a good attitude about your path. If you are on easy street right now then help others, if you are not on easy street ask for help. God will always put you in the best possible environment to enable your growth. Mold needs dark and warm and Taylor's need Chicago.
SECOND--Good friends are gold. You don't find many but when you do treat them like gold. Don't ever "settle" in a friendship that you've dedicated yourself to. If they are mean to you, back bite, gossip, and all those other lovely things....get out, be friendly to them, but be D-U-N done investing precious free time into that friendship.
THIRD--(this is our heinz 57 combobulation of lessons)
Satan's most powerful tools here while we were in school were comparison and entitlement. Dirty tricks they are.
It is a lot more fun to pay off debt than incur it. {although we do look forward to fun purchases once it is paid off}
Habits of life dictate happiness. You can medicate with other things all you want but if your priorities are in line you will see a defined path to happiness.

So, school has truly been educational all around. A few things we are looking forward to:
Not sharing a wall of our home with anyone{not that you are bad Reed family, it is just the concept}
Possibly maybe hopefully having a yard for my boys to get dirty in
NOT sharing a bathroom with Corbyn....stepping in pee gets so old.
Exploring a new place, meeting new people, learning to love snow again!
Having an INCOME....weird.
Paing off that debt, booya!
My husband passing his very last boards so that he can be a real live doctor....oh wait that just happened! Hooray!
